Part 4 of 7
BOUNDARIES ACCORDING
TO THE NUMBER OF ISRAEL
This
truth begs the question of why the priests and prophets would relate each day
of creation to a millennium that mankind must work from Adam. Why not one
million years or some other worldly equivalent of a Divine day? There are
several reasons, but for starters we should consider that Moses set the
literary stage for this sequential theory. Moses is very important because not
only did he write the first scrolls of Torah with the Genesis account, but he
also provided the necessary key for unlocking the six great days of a rippling
creation, which was first centered on the Persian Gulf region we know as
“southern Mesopotamia,” the home of Adam and Eve. Read carefully his words, for
they suggest that these ripples of a workweek are knowable if we explore God’s
wisdom:
Lord [YHVH] You have
been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought
forth [born], or ever You had formed the world [earth and the world] even from
everlasting to everlasting, You are God. You turn man to destruction, and say,
“Return, O children of men.” For a thousand years in Your sight are like
yesterday when it is past [a full day], and like a watch in the night [one of
six parts in a 24-hour day]. You carry them away like a flood; they are like
asleep [unaware]. In the morning they are like grass that grows up: In the
morning it flourishes and grows up; in the evening it is cut down and withers
[short lives]…for soon it is cut off, and we fly away [die]. Who knows the
power of your anger? For fear of You, so is Your wrath. So teach us to number
our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Return, O LORD! How long? And
have compassion on Your servants…Let Your works appear to Your servants, and
Your glory to Your servants…and establish [make known] the works of our hands.
– Moses (Ps. 90:1-6, 10-1, 16-17) NKJV; all emp. & intrpl. mine
Notice that Moses connects the days of creation with a thousand years being a
past day to God. He also compares them to the six parts in the old Hebrew
night/day (i.e., before three became four watches of the night- eight total).
God is the eternal dwelling place of mankind, in which we fly away to, but He
created a special place on Earth after forming the world with its mountains.
Moses connects the Genesis of the world with the destruction of an apocalyptic
flood before our age. And then there is the question of when the Lord YHVH will
return, which is a future event. In all this he prays that we would come to
comprehend His works and compare them with our own, which of course would
mirror the six days of creation and Sabbath. “Teach us to number our days,” he
said after comparing one of His completed days to a millennium. (NB: Before any
reader conclude that this passage warrants no further investigation because
Earth is much older, patience will prove beneficial for understanding of this
pattern.) Thus, while casual readers tend to focus on Moses’s prayer about our
frail, short lives, being about seventy years or longer with great strength,
early prophets and scribes sought higher wisdom to understand God’s creative
works in comparison with our own days.
The
point I am making is that wisdom asks readers to understand six millenniums of
a recreation week on Earth, rather than six literal days. This truth compels
students of Scripture to look back almost 12,000 years, at the end of the
Paleolithic period ©. 10,000 BC), to better understand Genesis (6 millennial
days in a restored creation and 6 millenniums from Adam and Eve to the Great
Sabbath). Because Adam and Eve were not included in Divine works until the end
of the sixth day, we are compelled to consider the key that the author of
Genesis provides us: 1 full day = 1,000 years. So we should look back almost
12,000 years ago to comprehend how God cultivated a garden habitat for Adam and
Eve. God’s six days of works were six millenniums before His Sabbath.
Jewish tradition retains much from the ancient thoughts of scribes and sages
who discerned biblical patterns of numbers within Scriptures, where each number
has tidbits of information associated with it. To this day the number 12 is
alleged to concern governmental completion or perfection. Once we discern the
signs of God having His own measurement- a millennial key- for a day, many
revelations can be discerned of biblical mysteries, such as the twelve tribes.
At the end of 12 days, governmental perfection will come with the return of the
Great King for the Sabbath. These things are currently foreign to theological
thought, so I will explain them in details in upcoming chapters.
Listen very closely: No theologian of Catholicism or Protestantism or any
religion has any Divine authority in this matter- only the author Moses who
wrote the Genesis account. If Moses wrote of God working for six days, even
before humankind utilized lunar and solar calendars, we should listen when
Moses provides us a key of one thousand years being a day in the Creator’s
sight. This is common sense hermeneutics. It asks that we break away from false
doctrines of religions (no matter how established their institutions and
traditions) and reexamine the original message that Moses recorded with
cooperative attitudes. How religions interpret the Bible and what the Bible
actually explains are two very different things, and no religion has an eschatology
so orthodox in its aging traditions that scholars or students thereof might
rightly deem heretical those who with a better comprehension do not agree with
their flawed exegetics. As many scholars insist, the Bible must be allowed to
interpret itself. The Holy Spirit teaches, but theologians prophesy in part and
understand in part. The sealed things were indeed left for an appointed time at
the end of this age, and before Christ comes there must be a restoration of
many deep truths.
When this is discerned, we can look differently at biblical history in an
expanded view of 12,000 full years, beginning in southern Mesopotamia, to see
the specific works that God was doing in a region to prepare a residence or
refuge for Adam and Eve, from which the first city-state civilization soon
followed. Moses prayed that God would teach us to number our days so that we
might gain a heart of wisdom- comparing His millennial days of work with our
workweek and Sabbath. In short, God gave Israelites a prophetic sign of His six
days of work and a Sabbath on the seventh day. “Sabbath” means “rest.” We would
work and rest as He, and the sequence is not made null or void by
spiritualizing it away.
Adam and Eve missed
most of that millennial Sabbath because they were expelled for disobedience and
distrust of God’s warnings, whereas those who come to understanding and
obedience will enter it with Christ. Israel also missed a millennial Sabbath
which will be explained later, lest confusion set in before the paradigm unfolds.
Adam and Eve were sent out to work the cursed soil of the earth rather than
rest, leaving the great plan of God to unfold in millenniums of human history:
For we who have
believed do enter that rest, as he has said: “So I have sworn in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the
foundation of the world. For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh
day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; and
again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.” Since therefore it remains
that some must enter it, and those whom it was first preached [wilderness
Hebrews] did not enter because of their disobedience…There remains therefore a
rest [Sabbath] for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has
himself ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent
to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of
disobedience. (Heb. 4:3-6, 9-11) NKJV; emp. mine
Understanding this millennial day is the Aleph Key of the Moedim Paradigm.
Because the history of Adam and Eve began at the end of six millenniums in the
recreation summary (and they were thereafter expelled during the first Great
Sabbath), six more millennial days of mankind’s historical works were appointed
before the coming of the Messiah King. (NB: I am leaving out an essential
shadow week relevant to national Israel so as not to confuse readers.) So the
ancient worldview of Moses and the prophets’ is that God purposely set boundaries
of time on all secular nations and their governing of the world, which are
twelve millennial days since the beginning of the restoration summary in
Genesis Ch. 1. When that time is complete, the Messiah will lead the nations
“with a rod of iron” into peace for 1,000 years, ushering in an era of justice
and knowledge. Afterwards, God will reign in an everlasting Kingdom (Olam Haba)
with a better, virtuous form of human beings.
To
understand why a Great Sabbath millennium must come before eternity is shared
with the elect, we must understand the Divine boundaries God reveals through
Moses:
Remember the days of
old, consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show
you; your elders, and they will tell you: When the Most High divided their
inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the
boundaries of the peoples [nations] according to the number of the children of
Israel. For the LORD’s [YHVH] portion [part] is His people; Jacob is the place
of His inheritance. – Moshe (Deut. 32:7-9) NKJV; intrpl. mine
This passage, which is often confusing to scholars and theologians, is not
merely explaining the geographical boundaries of nations which consistently
change over time, but specifically boundaries of time on all nations before the
Lord takes His rightful inheritance (via His inheriting Son Messiah) in the
land of Israel. Even the physical boundaries of the chosen nation would not be
fully realized until the appointed time when the Messiah comes. Nations
undoubtedly existed before the children of Israel, but what this means is that
God set a precise timely boundary from the Genesis, and the children of Israel
witness to it.
Jacob (renamed “Israel”) had twelve sons and one daughter, Dinah. The twelve
sons represent 12 millenniums because a daily boundary of 1,000 years was
placed on the lives of rebelling humankind- a day to God. (This truth will be
explained shortly.) Dinah, whose name means “judged” or perhaps “judgment,”
represents the 13th millennium, when the Lord and His “Bride” Kingdom judge the
nations. Moreover, the Great Sabbath (Day of God) is a 7th millennial day since
Adam’s beginning, a 13th millennial day since the beginning restoration in the
first chapter of Genesis, and a 3rd day since the cross of the Lord Messiah.
Furthermore, it is a 10th day in relation to Israel and 21st day in the
complete paradigm, which I will explain in coming chapter. (See the Moedim
Paradigm template for a head start.)
When we look at a Jewish day consisting of twelve hours and a year of twelve
months, and the other signs of twelve in Scripture (e.g., twelve patriarchs,
twelve apostles), we should perceive that signs of time were set in motion long
ago to witness to 12,000 years between the works of God in Genesis and
millennial works of humankind, where the Sabbath is a sign of rest at the reign
of Messiah. Moreover, twelve millenniums precede the messianic judgment.
If
someone speaking to one of us were to say a certain word- let us say “apple,”
for example- consecutively, perhaps within a dozen phrases, most of us would
rightly conclude that likely an apple was be hinted at. There may be more
that we should be paying attention to or discerning about an apple. God,
through John on the island of Patmos, explained that “twelve thousand”
Firstfruits of each Israelite tribe would be sealed for the Apocalypse. John
could have shortened the revelation by simply explaining that 12,000
Firstfruits of each tribe were sealed, but he clearly affirmed the mysterious
number a dozen consecutive times (cf. Rev. 7:1-12). This was not without reason
or because he loved repetitious writing.
When we find the Firstfruits of the twelve tribes of Jacob sealed at the end of
the age with innumerable Ingathered Fruits, just before the Great Sabbath, what
we should perceive is that the Lord is revealing the 12,000-year-boundary of
time on the secular governments of the nations. So again, as recorded in
Revelation, the children of Israel were given as a special sign of the coming
Messiah and the Great Sabbath of His reign. And so the Lord set the boundaries
on nations according to the number of the children of Israel, with many elect
sealed at the Sabbath door. (NB: 144,000 people do not indicate that only that
number of Israelites will be saved. The mystery of the Firstfruits will be
expounded upon shortly.)
Moreover, when the spiritual city of New Jerusalem was envisioned by John (cf.
Rev. 21:1-27) “coming down out of Heaven from God,” which means completion of
Divine works that must come down to the Earth, along with believers who must
“get their heads out of the clouds,” so-to-speak, it was observed with twelve
gates (21:12) representing the twelve tribes of Israel. Supporting the twelve
gates of Israel was a wall with twelve apostolic foundations (21:14). In other
words, Jewish apostles of Messiah supported the fact that spiritual believers
must enter through God’s work for the nation of Israel, to be part of New
Jerusalem, even as the foundations of the walls support twelve tribal gateways
and express what is brought in and what is left out- i.e., entering the
commonwealth of Israel. The works are for the boundary of twelve millenniums,
which is clearly expressed by the fact that the city’s length, breadth, and
height are all measured at 12,000 furlongs (cf. 21:16). So again, at 12,000
years we find the tribal doorways into the prophesied New Jerusalem and Great
Sabbath.
As
for spiritual Jerusalem’s walls being measured at 144 cubits, to “the measure
of a man, that is, of an angel,” we discern that with the original boundary set
on human life (1,000 years) we have the 144,000 Firstfruits that began God’s
harvest of souls. In other words, the spiritual city explains that at 12,000
years the fullness of the elect Gentiles would be brought into the gateways of
the twelve tribes, since the apostolic foundations are designed to support the
Ingathering of a fruitful harvest into Israel, with the fullness of believers
from all nations brought into the commonwealth. This does not imply that other
people will not be “saved,” or that other nations will not exist and be
blessed, but only that there will be a nation chosen by God to dwell with the
Great King during the Sabbath. The city New Jerusalem is a spiritual expression
of the “Bride” or “Lamb’s Wife” and has true measurements that concern when the
elect will reign in glorious Jerusalem, much as a dress in measured to fit a
bride.
For if the firstfruit
[Hebrews] is holy, the lump [mass] is also holy; and if the root is holy; so
are the branches…For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of
this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion [estimation], that
blindness in part has happened to Israel [concerning Yeshua] until the fullness
of the Gentiles has come in [commonwealth]. And so all Israel will be saved, as
it is written: “The Deliver will come out of Zion, and He will turn away
ungodliness from Jacob; for this is My covenant with them, when I shall take
away their sins.” (Rom. 11:16, 25-27) NKJV; intrpl. mine
Comprehending these simple truths of time help Bible-enthusiasts considerably
when studying Genesis and all the prophetic passages in all books of the Bible.
But for readers a puzzling question may arise: “If all this is true, why don’t
the churches or synagogues plainly teach it?” The reality is that some of these
things have been forgotten and gone unheeded for millennia. Other things have
never been revealed but were saved for the elect at the end of the age.
However, the millennial week of the Moedim Paradigm was indeed popularly known
and taught by Jews and early Christians, extending through the first few
centuries of the Common Era. Although the entire paradigm has not been
disclosed, there have always been a few who have kept the Sabbath faith alive
since ancient Israel and Judah. Asserting this, we must now get into a bit of
light Judeo-Christian history to comprehend today’s religious silence.
